Along with its Swiss neighbour Samnaun, Ischgl is part of the Silvretta Arena ski area and is one of the biggest ski areas in Tyrol. Silvretta Arena, with 239 kilometres of pistes, 45 state-of-the-art lift facilities, is one of the biggest and coolest freestyle parks in the Alps, while an impressive freeride area and countless ski tours ensure unlimited ski fun. Thanks to the snow-assured north-facing slopes and an elevation above 2800 metres, Ischgl is a winner - with snow-assuredness from November until the start of May. The free ski bus, just a few metres from Apart Claudia, takes you from Mathon to Ischgl in just a few minutes; an ideal way to get to the ski area.
